He was predeceased by: his mother Sharon Marie Gilliam Watts; and his grandparents, Clayton Gilliam, Betty Gilliam (Kenny Watts) and Bertha Watts. He is survived by: his father George Watts, Sr. of Claremont; his sons, Clayton Eli Watts of Kershaw, SC, Tristan Watts of Chester, SC and Johnathan Watts of Conover; and his sisters, Corlissa Watts-Barnes (TJ) of Statesville and Cressida Leah Watts of Claremont.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the Bennett Funeral Service (7878 NC-16, Newton, NC 28658). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Bennett Funeral Service (7878 NC-16, Newton, NC 28658).
