He was predeceased by: his father Gerald Swindle; and his brother Brian Elzie Swindle. He is survived by: his mother Linda Stamey; his children, John Swindle and Jessica Mitchell-Hall; his siblings, Michael Swindle, Anita Swindle and Elizabeth Baxter; and his grandsons, Noah Lukas Swindle and Jakob Isaac Swindle. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
