It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Keith Todd Lynch of Claremont, North Carolina, born in Catawba, North Carolina, who passed away on January 27, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton McCollough Lynch and Minnie Mae Hartzoge Lynch; and his brothers, Jerry and P. Ray Lynch. He is survived by: his wife Betty Arney Lynch; and his children, Allen R. Hedrick (Liz) of Conover, Kevin C. Lynch (Collette) of Hickory and Michelle Lockhart of Clarksville, TN.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to a charity of one's choice.

“It was a pleasure to have been able to sit and play music with Keith at the picking sessions on Tuesday nights at the Conover YMCA. Keith was a great musician, showman and a great story teller of incidents when he was on the road entertaining crowds of people, Keith`s great knowledge of entertainers and music reached a scale or plateau I will never be able to attain. Thank you Keith for allowing me to be in a small part of your life. You will be missed, so go rest High on that Mountain”

“Betty, you know how much the friendship of you and Keith meant to me. Keith is a very special man who added so much to the experiences at Richard's Coffee Shop. I was amazed at his knowledge of music and musicians and thoroughly enjoyed his performances at the coffee house and with Sugarfoot. I'll miss him greatly. God continues to help me with the loss of my husband and gives me peace knowing that he no longer suffers in any way. may God comfort you and your family. Love to you all, Candy”
