It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kenneth Eugene Hollifield of Claremont, North Carolina, who passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Kenneth Eugene may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Hollifield and Edith Barlowe Hollifield. He is survived by: his wife Beth Gregg Hollifield; his daughter Lisa Hollifield Messer (Rick); his grandchildren, Heather Yelton (Ben), Timothy Davis and Sydney Olson (Paul); and his great grandchildren, Regan, Jackson, Kylie and Emilia.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Beam Funeral Service & Crematory (2170 Rutherford Rd, Marion, NC 28752). A memorial service was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
