He was predeceased by: his parents, Carroll Laws and Florence Ayers Laws. He is survived by: his friend Ken; his daughter Kim Johnson (Jamie) of Taylorsville; and his grandchildren, Kayla Johnson of Sylva, NC and Cole Johnson of Taylorsville.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Adams Funeral Home (307 Main Ave Dr, Taylorsville, NC 28681). A graveside service was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Gaston Memorial Park (2205 Williamsburg Dr, Gastonia, NC 28054).
