She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe McCombs and Betty Abernathy McCombs; and her siblings, Jeffrey McCombs and Meeta Williams. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Deal; her children, John David Deal (Reymond) of Newton and Melissa Deal Johnson (Adam) of Conover; and her siblings, Joel McCombs (Mary Alice) of Newton and Lela McCombs of Maiden.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Bethlehem United Methodist Church (3214 Catawba St, Claremont, NC 28610). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
