He was predeceased by: his parents, Gregory Monroe Austin and Carolyn Ann Page Wallace; his uncle Billy Austin; and his aunt Mary Austin. He is survived by: his wife Haley Alan Austin; his children, Alexis Nunez (Ramon), Chloe Lowrance, Dalton Lowrance and Hunter Austin; his grandson Elijah Bibiano-Mendoza; his siblings, Joshua Hodges (Trista), Jessica Kelley (Eric), Joseph Hodges (Carrie), Justin Austin (Kaylee) and Tony (Wallace Jr.); his grandmother Reba Austin; and his stepparents, Marche Austin and Tony Wallace Sr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bass-Smith Funeral Home Chapel (334 2nd St NW, Hickory, NC 28601). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
