He is survived by: his wife Vickie Melton Taylor; his children, Bryan Taylor of Salisbury and Shannon Taylor Jones (Sam Jones); his grandson Nicholas Jones (Nick) of Browns Summit; and his siblings, Diane Shepard of Marion, Tony Taylor of Old Fort, Robert Taylor (Sheila) of Morganton and Randy Taylor (Frances) of Old Fort.
