He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Wallace McCall and Martha Goforth McCall; and his siblings, Dennis Wayne McCall, Ray McCall and Ellen Head.

He is survived by: his children, Toby Dale McCall of Winston Salem, Jeremy Steven McCall (Mary) of Claremont, Derek Matthew McCall (Jill) of Gamewell and Dana Owens of Winston Salem; his sisters, Helen Perkins of Lenoir and Rebecca Jane Whisenant (Jerry) of Lenoir; his grandchildren, Dylan McCall, Cortney West (Dubby), Dalton McCall, McKenzie Heavner, Kylie McCall, Taylor McCall and Ruby Ann McCall; and his great grandchildren, Aerys McCall, Dubby Lee West and Marianne Rae West.
