He was predeceased by : his parents, Lester Duncan and Geneva Duncan; and his brother Billy Allen. He is survived by : his wife Janice Bowen Allen; his children, Teresa A. Maggard (Alan) of Clarendon, Michele Harris (Matthew) of Clarendon, Bobby Allen, Jr. (Tracie) of Whiteville and Michael David Allen of Clarendon; and his sisters, Wilma Pace of Hallsboro and Elizabeth "Liz" Duncan (Danny) of Clarendon. He is also survived by seven loving grandchildren and nine loving great-grandchildren.
