She is survived by: her children, Robert Tyree (Sara) of Fuquay Varina, NC, DeeDee McLaurin (Terry) of Surf City and Misty Rose Smith (Phillip) of Wendell, NC; her grandchildren, Cole McLaurin Alexis, Channing McLaurin (Meriwether), Ashley Smith, Allyson Smith and Katelyn Smith; and her great grandchildren, Easton, Baylor and Cade McLaurin.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Peacock Funeral Home Chapel (1227 S Madison St, Whiteville, NC 28472). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
