It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary James Greer of Clarendon, North Carolina, born in Tazewell, Tennessee, who passed away on November 25, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, George Washington Greer and Mabel Inez Greer; and his siblings, Jackie Arnold and Glenn Greer. He is survived by : his wife Cindy Greer of Clarendon; his children, Chris Greer (Andrea) of Wake Forest, NC and Lisa Barber of Springfield, VA; his siblings, Justin Greer (Mary Ann) of Oklahoma City, OK and Glenda Davis (Robert) of Sneedville, TN; and his grandchildren, Rylie Greer, Gavin Greer, Kaylea Barber and Ian Barber.

In lieu of flowers, Gary requested that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
