She was predeceased by: her parents, James Nettles and Dorcas Godwin Nettles; and her brother Jim Nettles. She is survived by: her husband David Gurley of Clarendon, NC.; her sons, Dan Gurley of Nakina, NC. and Szhon Gurley of Clarendon, NC.; and her grandson Cody Gurley.
