She was predeceased by : her parents, Ben David Fowler and Vera Gurganus Fowler; and her siblings, David Earl Fowler and Yvonne Fowler Benton. She is survived by : her children, Rocky Dean Fowler (Elizabeth) and Malia Canady (Kent) of Clarendon; her stepdaughter Veronica Allen Lowe (Terry) of San Antonio, Texas; her sister Doris Fowler Barnhill of Whiteville; her sister-in-law Helen Hinson Fowler of Whiteville; and her grandchildren, Harrison Smith Fowler, Angelia Bailey Nealey, Jeremy Lowe, Zachary Lowe, Raven Lowe and Karrigan Lowe. She is also survived by several great- grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
