With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Anna Maxine Goins Jordan of Clarkton, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 23, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alex Goins and Mattie Smith Goins; her husband Ralph Newton Jordan; her daughter Sherri Diana Jordan; and her siblings, Chrissie White, Eileen Gore, Iris Stephens and A. G. Goins.
She is survived by: her children, Skye Dawn J. Lewis (Don) of Shallotte, NC, Beth Anna J. Floyd (George) of Lake Waccamaw, NC and Alex Newton Jordan (Tammy) of Clarkton, NC; her grandchildren, Jordan Thompson, Ethan Jordan, Cameron Floyd and Tyler Floyd; and her great grandchildren, Bella Grace, Caden and Ridge.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Western Prong Baptist Church (167 Peacock Rd, Whiteville, NC 28472). A graveside service was held on Sunday, October 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Western Prong Baptist Church Cemetery (167 Peacock Rd, Whiteville, NC 28472).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Western Prong Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
