He was predeceased by: his grandfather Henry McDonald; his aunts, Joan McDonald, Janet Lowrimore and Susie Hood; his stepmother Bonnie McDonald; his stepgrandmother Helen Cox; and his uncles, Michael and Buster McDonald.
He is survived by: his parents, Jeffery McDonald and Dena Cox (Gary); his daughter Kylie Nicole; his grandfather Monroe Jones; his stepsister Shannon Russell; his stepgrandparents, Rossie Cox, Stan and Burlyne Baxley; and his stepbrother Gary Cox Jr.. He is also survived by cousins, a host of beloved aunts, uncles, great aunts, great uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home & Cremation Services (3131 M. L. K. Dr, Elizabethtown, NC 28337). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
