It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Junior Lorenzo Godfrey of Clarkton, North Carolina, who passed away on July 6, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his wife Pauline Carmichael Godfrey of Tabor City, NC; his children, Darlene Bouie of Clarkton, NC, Janice Frazier of Florida, Nicole Godfrey of Tabor City, NC and Paul Jeter of New Jersey; and his siblings, Jean Godfrey, Marie Ligon (Frank), Sarah Anthony (Herman), Curtis Godfrey and Rev. Henry Earl Godfrey. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren.
