She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelia Gulley Creech and Otto Clarence Creech; and her grandmother Inez W. Gulley. She is survived by: her husband Jimmy C. Benson; her children, Angela Benson Kodsi (Matt Kodsi) and Daniel Benson (Beth Benson); and her grandchildren, Devin Kodsi, Jessica Kodsi, Sydney Benson, Skylar Benson and Sawyer Benson.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McLaurin Funeral Home (12830 US 70 Business Hwy W, Clayton, NC 27520). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM.
Flowers are welcome, or memorial gifts may be made to the Clayton High School Alumni Association.
