He was predeceased by: his parents, Blanche Lassiter and Wade Lassiter; and his brothers, Tony and Jerry. He is survived by: his wife Mary Long; and his children, Angela, Luke, John, Nick, Hank and Micah. He is also survived by his 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A reception was held on Sunday, September 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the McLaurin Funeral Home (12830 US 70 Business Hwy W, Clayton, NC 27520).
