He was predeceased by: his parents, Fay Aycock and Vonnie Godwin Sasser; his wife Hilda Wood Sasser; and his siblings, Yates Sasser, Leon Sasser and Joyce Maida.
He is survived by: his son C. Jeff Sasser of Clayton; and his brothers, Sherwood Sasser (Celia), Terry Sasser (Faye) and Edward Sasser.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pinecrest Memorial Gardens (12830 US 70 Business Hwy W, Clayton, NC 27520).
