She is survived by: her husband Glenn Smith; her daughters, Thomasena Leach, Ebonie Jones and Ashley Battista; and her siblings, Gwendolyn Watts, Leo Leach (Lisa Leach), Hester Leach, Lawrence Leach, Samuel Leach and Brenda Hunter (Andre' Hunter). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Steven L Lyons Funeral Home (1515 New Bern Ave, Raleigh, NC 27610). Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Deliverance Cathedral of Love (1705 Curtis Dr, Raleigh, NC 27601). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, November 5th 2026 at the Montlawn Memorial Park (2911 S Wilmington St, Raleigh, NC 27603).
