In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Ella leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Ella may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She is survived by: her husband Joe Williams; her goddaughter Lori Lewis of Raleigh, NC; her siblings, Nathaniel White of Spring Lake, NC, George White of Plainfield, NJ and Josephine Davis (Albert) of Laurinburg, NC; and her siblings-in-law, Betty Cutler of Brooklyn, NY, Billie Jean Williams of Brooklyn, NY and Robert "Bo" Williams (Deidra). She is also survived by nieces, and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Walter and Cora Hood Memorial Chapel (230 E Front St, Clayton, NC 27520). A graveside service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Forest Hill Cemetery (5479 Little Creek Church Rd, Clayton, NC 27520).
