He is survived by: his wife Sheila Dixon-Lassiter of Selma, NC; his children, Felicia Lassiter-Robinson of Suwanee, GA, Tawana "Nikki" Harvey (William) of Clayton, NC, Kenny Prescott Sanders (Jamie) of Smithfield, NC and Greca Scott Lassiter Jr. (Kenyatta) of Princeton, NC.; his brothers, Roderick L. Lassiter (Sonya) of Clayton, NC, Kevin L. Lassiter of Clayton, NC and Dana W. Lassiter (Karen) of Franklinton, NC; and his aunt Lucille Smith (James) of Sugar Hill, GA. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Walter and Cora Hood Memorial Chapel (230 E Front St, Clayton, NC 27520). Visitation was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mount Vernon Christian Church (300 N Lombard St, Clayton, NC 27520). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at the Forest Hill Cemetery (5479 Little Creek Church Rd, Clayton, NC 27520).
