She is survived by: her granddaughters, Hannah Montalto Penny (Samuel) and Sarah Winnifred Penny of Hickory; her great grandchild Samantha Penny; her stepgrandchildren, Michael Cushing, Charity Locklear, Stacy Wood and Brandy Johnson; and her sisters, Nellie Sanders and Faye Wells. She is also survived by 5 step great grandchildren and 8 step great-great grandchildren.
