He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Barbour and Rachel Franks Barbour; his wife Patricia "Pat" Byrd Barbour; his son James Barbour; and his brother Roger Barbour.
He is survived by: his son Jason Barbour (Deanna); his grandchildren, Shepard Barbour (Amber), Jaxon Barbour and Ede Barbour; his great grandchildren, Levi and Avery; his niece Yvette Davis (Anthony); and his great-nephews, Christian Davis (Athena), Colby Davis (Shalyn) and Kyle Davis (Rachel).
