We bid farewell to Jean Jones Wheeler (Clayton, North Carolina), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 10, 2025 at the age of 90. Jean Jones touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Jones and Bernice Bailey Jones; and her husband Arthur Jodie Wheeler. She is survived by: her daughters, Sylvia Westbrook (Ken), Jackie Hill (Jamie) and Angie Boyce (David); her grandchildren, Kimberly Daughtry (Andy), Jason Stogner (Amber), Jenny Martin of Will Westbrook, A. J, Boyce and Hayleigh Boyce; and her great grandchildren, Caroline Stogner, Drew Daughtry, Harper Stogner and Ava Daughtry.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the McLaurin Funeral Home (12830 Clayton Blvd, Clayton, NC 27520). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Maplewood Cemetery (145 Vogue St, Clayton, NC 27520).
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Women's Missionary Unit.
