He is survived by: his wife Louise "Lovely Lou" Novak McHale of Clayton, NC; his children, Ed McHale of Knightdale, NC, Ann McHale Nyberg (John) of Beaufort, NC, Kathleen McHale Jobson (Chris) of Huntersville, NC and Terie McHale of Boca Raton, FL.; his grandchildren, Ryan Nyberg, Paige Nyberg Piner (Jonathan), Meghan Nyberg Roark (Ryan), Collin Ellington and Travis Ellington; and his great grandchildren, Josie, Ellie Roark and Emma Piner.
