With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Kay Hobbs (Clayton, North Carolina), who passed away on September 21, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Karen's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Karen has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dave Hobbs. She is survived by: her son Carl Varney; her grandchildren, Logan and Michele Nguyen; her daughter Kami Keesor; her grandchildren, Christopher and Mackenzie Keesor; and her sisters, Katrina West and Karrie Sims. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
