He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Palmer and Delmar Mae Herron Palmer; his sons, Michael Stanley Palmer of Clayton and Anthony Scott Palmer of Virginia Beach, VA.; his half-sisters, Linda Spry Wilson and Brenda Nantz of Richmond, VA; his brother Dickie Richard Palmer; his grandchildren, Michael Stanley Palmer Jr. of League City, TX, Christopher Bradley Palmer of Elizabeth City, Lucas Heinz Palmer of Clayton, Natalie Andrea Palmer of Wilmington, Kristian Scott Palmer of Clayton, Matthew Palmer and Jessica Palmer; and his great grandchildren, Matthias, Liam Palmer of League City, TX, Henri and Jonah Tetrault of Wilmington.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McLaurin Funeral Home (12830 Clayton Blvd, Clayton, NC 27520).
