He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Bienkowski and Jane Furtak Bienkowski; and his son Jason F. Medawar. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Bienkowski; his children, Adam (Sharon), Dennis, Mitzi (Freddy) and Kelly (Verne); his grandchildren, Kayla, Jason, Tierra, Molly, Cody, Adrian, Deija, Madison, Riley, Ethan and Amilliana; his great grandchildren, Zaiden, Ziaire, Jace, Alante, Ace and Bryson; and his siblings, Dennis (Marlene), Mary (Phil) and Lucy (Bob). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Monday, May 11th 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Thy Neuse Country Club (918 Birkdale Dr, Clayton, NC 27527).
