He is survived by: his siblings, John Bliss (Rose), Mary Zacek, Jim Bliss (Evie), Anne Waskewicz (Steve), Mike Bliss, Pat Bliss (April), Kathy Callow, Terry Suszinsky (Ken) and Joe Bliss (Cindy); his wife Bernadette; his children, Ross Perkins (Susan), Adrienne Williams, Matt Perkins (Lindsey), Lauren Solomon (Jared), Joel Perkins (Kelly), Stephanie Malec (Matthew Sr.) and Danielle Rusher (Mike); his grandchildren, Morgan (Hayden), Madysonn (Jason), Jackson, Esther, Kempton, Evan, Reinor, Amelia, Kate, Annabelle, Wren, Booker, Matthew Jr., Carmela and Asher; and his great grandchildren, Lorelai and Lawson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Christ the King Church (1082 Amelia Church Rd, Clayton, NC 27520).
