He is survived by: his children, Laura Gwinn, Wayne McHorney and Mark McHorney; his grandchildren, Brittany, Caitlin McHorney, Rick Ramsey, Nicole Ramsey, Keith McHorney and Jessica Tart; his great grandchildren, Mia Scott, Gage McHorney, Jayda McHorney, Jadyn Ramsey, Caitlyn Ramsey, Madison Ramsey, Nao Ramsey, Emma Hoff, Evie Ramsey and Tristan Tart; his great great grandchildren, Waylon Mahor and Emberly Ramsey; his nieces, Jodi Duncan and Gina White; and his sister Janice Stokes.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home (12830 US 70 Business Hwy W, Clayton, NC 27520). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Woodlawn Memorial Park.
