He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Jackson and Cornelia Peedin Jackson; his wife Martha Faye Jackson; and his siblings, Johnny Mack Jackson, Larry Jackson, Jimmy Jackson, Ray Jackson, Charles Jackson, Jerry Jackson, Helen Odom and Joyce Byrd.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sheila Batten (Danny) and Beverly Crumpler (Mark); his sisters, Ann Parrish and Brenda Woodard; his grandchildren, Jason Batten, Stuart Samosky, Heather Ritchea, Mark Samosky and John Crumpler; and his great grandchildren, Jackson Samosky, Benjamin Samosky, Alora Samosky, Hannah Samosky, Owen Crumpler, Brayden Ritchea, Katelyn Ritchea, Ashley Lee and Logan Lee.
