With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Brenda Jane Robbins Hockaday of Clemmons, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Brenda Jane Robbins left this world on July 9, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Treva Belle Doub Robbins and William Robbins; her in-laws, Wilbur and Lillian Hockaday; her grandson Espen Maclean Hafkey; and her sister Barbara Kiger.
She is survived by: her siblings, Marsha, Martha, Larry and Debra; her daughter Leigh Ann Hockaday Hafkey; her husband Roger Hockaday; and her granddaughter Kirsten Hafkey of Clemmons. She is also survived by her siblings; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel (108 E Kinderton Way, Advance, NC 27006). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The ALS Association, http://www.als.org., an organization Brenda passionately supported and benefitted from after her diagnosis.
