She was predeceased by: her parents, Zeb M. McDougald and Annie Roller McDougald; her husband William F. Davis, Sr.; and her son William F. Davis, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Anne Marie Davis of Clemmons and Gregory M. Davis of Winston-Salem; her sister Sara McDougald Poston of Rockingham; and her great grandchildren, Bowen William Brownlee, Boyd Spencer Brownlee of Winston-Salem, Miller Grace James and Campbell Davis James of Columbia, SC.. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
Her life was typified by wisdom, charity, and kindness to all. Memorial donations may be made to Clemmons United Methodist Church, 3700 Clemmons Road, Clemmons, NC 27012.
