He is survived by: his father Royd Steve Kerley; his wife Patricia Amos Kerley; his stepchildren, James Bowling French Jr. (Lynn) and Patricia Milette Schmidt; his grandson Kevin Langston (Mindy); his great grandchildren, Kaden, Luke and Nora; his grandchild Chelsie Miller (Jacob); his great grandchildren, Kyle, Carter and Emmalyn; his grandchild Taylor Reed (Toby); his great grandchildren, Amelia, Everleigh, Penelope and Charlotte; his brothers, Christopher Loyd Kerley and Michael Vincent Kerley (Suzanne Ishee); his nieces, Jean Rives Leonard and Jessica Kerley-Tansky; Sean and Albert James "AJ" Clark.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Clemmons United Methodist Church (3700 Clemmons Rd, Clemmons, NC 27012).
