It is with sadness that the passing of Mavis Haynes Rogers (Clemmons, North Carolina) is shared. Mavis, born on July 2, 1928, passed away on September 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William S. Haynes and Ellie Marlowe Haynes; her husband G. Z. Rogers; and her siblings, Ralph Haynes, Bill Haynes, Leland Haynes, Jack Haynes, Nellie Haynes, Gladys Parker, Jeanette Laney, Anna Greeson and Margaret Kindley.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Zollie Rogers (Sandy) of Lexington and Kay Rogers Dunn (Kent) of Troutman; her grandchildren, Eric Dunn (Jayme), Haley Dunn (David), Rachel Dunn (Brooke), Chris Rogers (Rachel) and Ellie R. Hohenstein (Greg); and her great grandchildren, Kai, Jace Rogers, Aubrey, Landon and Connor Hohenstein. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Fellowship Hall. A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Advance United Methodist Church (1911 NC-801, Advance, NC 27006).
