He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Burrette Spicer and Clide Alma Anders Spicer; his wife Linda Tuttle Spicer; and his grandson Rob S. Young. He is survived by: his daughters, Teri Spicer Leonard (Dean) and Tina Spicer Gregory; his grandchildren, Brandi Leonard D'Souza, Brooke Leonard Cresswell and Kayla M. Gregory; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Mason, Olivia D'Souza, Noah, Eli Cresswell, Braelee, Lacie and Harlow Boles; and his brother Alvin Lee Spicer (Barbara).
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oak Forest United Methodist Church (11461 Old U. S. Hwy 52, Winston-Salem, NC 27107). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Oak Forest United Methodist Church building fund 11461 Old Hwy 52, Winston-Salem, NC 27107.
