She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie "Mack" McCubbins and Nora Pearl McCubbins; her husband Boyden Cartner; and her sister Edith Cauble. She is survived by: her daughter Vicki Cartner; and her sisters, Nell Thompson and Willie Kate Walkup.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the South River Church (2880 S River Church Rd, Woodleaf, NC 27054). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 11:00 PM to 12:00 AM at the same location.
