He was predeceased by: his parents, James O. Hicks and Patricia M. Jacobs Cooper; and his sister Kristine A. Bell. He is survived by: his wife Joan White Hicks; his daughter Bonnie E. Butler (Reg Turner); his siblings, Andy Hicks (Carol) and Susie Kelps (Ron); and his siblings-in-law, Larry White (Kathy), Susie White and Brooke White. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Wreath for Veterans organization was Tom's favorite charity and cause to ensure every veteran's grave had a wreath in a National Cemetery at Christmas.
