He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Canipe and Nellie Canipe. He is survived by: his wife Susan Canipe; his sons, Luke Canipe (Katie) and Brian Canipe (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Kateley Canipe, Maxie Claire Canipe, Libby Canipe and Jackson Canipe; his aunt Margaret Ledford; and his niece Shelley Hoyle.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Beaver Dam Baptist Church (123 Beaver Dam Church Rd, Shelby, NC 28152). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
