Nick Turner Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Nick Turner of Cleveland, North Carolina. Nick, born on January 8, 1949 in Morganton, North Carolina, passed away on July 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Worth Turner and Anna English Turner; and his siblings, Bill Turner, John Turner, Lorene Yount, Betty Julian, Mary Jo Jones and Norma Brown.

He is survived by: his wife Nancy Turner; his son Todd Turner (Angie); his sisters, Shelby Peterson and Cathy Allen (Dale); his stepsons, Michael Frechette (Galynn), Daniel Frechette (Rebecca) and Matthew Frechette; and his granddaughters, Christine Turner and Michelle Perkins (Jake). He is also survived by two great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Nick was an active volunteer to the Make a Wish Foundation, taking terminal children and their families out on his boat.
