He is survived by: his children, Sylvester Culbertson (Tracy) of Cleveland, NC, Deborah Culbertson of Cleveland, NC, Ryan Culbertson (Tiffany) of Cleveland, NC, Dwayne Culbertson (Emily) of Davidson, NC and Abdulla Wali-Uddin (Bouchra); his brother Roman Culbertson (Dorothy) of Cleveland, NC; his uncle Gary Hall of Cleveland, NC; and his brother-in-law Walter Rankin (Mary) of Troutman, NC.. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mount Vernon Church (435 Carson Rd, Cleveland, NC 27013). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at the same location.
