David Taylor Obituary
We announce the death of David Taylor of Cliffside, North Carolina, who passed away on October 21, 2026, at the age of 75. David will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph W. Taylor and Willie Mae Waters Taylor. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Taylor; his children, Bethany Greene of Forest City, Deidre Pearson of Shelby and Travis Taylor of Ellenboro; his stepson Tony Jones of Henrietta; and his sisters, Daphne Hampton of Ellenboro, Deborah Womack (Jim) of Cliffside and Dawn Greene of Boiling Springs, NC. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Harrelson Funeral Home & Cremation Services (1251 US Hwy 221a, Forest City, NC 28043). A memorial service was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Cliffside Cemetery (299 Stimson St, Mooresboro, NC 28114).
