He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Arrowood and Dora Potter Arrowood; and his siblings, W. J., Albert Jr., Glen Arrowood, Ruby Rumfelt and Joann Bailey.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn McCraw Arrowood; his children, Vickie Arrowood Smith (Larry), Ralph Leonard Arrowood, Jr. of Cliffside, Larry Dean Arrowood (April Barnes) of Cliffside and Jeffery Dwayne Arrowood (Tammy) of Forest City; his siblings, Colene Nanney (Hugh) of Union Mills, Frances Shehan of Forest City and Roger Arrowood (Susie) of Kings Mountain; his grandchildren, Joshua Arrowood, Tyler Smith, Seth Arrowood, Dylan Arrowood, Daryn Arrowood, Bryce Arrowood, Carlee Arrowood, Lona Arrowood and Addison Arrowood; and his great grandchildren, Maddox, Brody, Sawyer, Huck and Finn.
