Mildred Bailey Honeycutt Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2025, at the age of 99, Mildred Bailey Honeycutt of Cliffside, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Mildred departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Mildred. Though Mildred may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Cobb and Mamie McCraw Cobb; her husband Floyd Morris Bailey; her former husband Carmel Honeycutt; and her son-in-law Tony Salinero.

She is survived by: her children, Jerry Bailey (Joyce) of Tallahassee and Janice Bailey Salinero of Tallahassee; and her siblings, Jim Cobb, Ruth Southerland and Donna Ivester.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, May 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Fellowship Hall at Prospect Baptist Church (2610 Prospect Church Rd, Mooresboro, NC 28114).
