It is with sadness that the passing of Clyde Eugene Mowery of Climax, North Carolina is shared. Clyde passed away on October 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Chapman Mowery and Martha Elizabeth Reynolds Mowery; and his siblings, Jane Graham, Wayne Mowery and Kenneth Mowery.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Thompson Mowery; his children, Clyde Alan Mowery (Sandra) and Barbara Mowery Haskins (John); his grandchildren, Kathleen "Kit" Bella Hoover, Megan Lane Mowery (Tino) and Dalton Chapman Mowery; his great grandchild Augustino Tanco; and his sisters, Lorena Fields and Elizabeth "Betsy" Lee. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Burnetts Chapel Church. A funeral service was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Burnetts Chapel Church 1201 Burnetts Chapel Road Greensboro, NC 27406.
