Jerry Wayne Routh Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jerry Wayne Routh of Climax, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 11, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid adieu to Jerry Wayne's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Jerry Wayne has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Odell Routh and Mary Henrietta Wright Routh; and his sister Vickie Coltrane. He is survived by: his wife Linda Hunt Routh; his daughter Carolyn Alverson (Bert); his grandchildren, Michael Alverson (Michelle) and Ashlynn Alverson Rierson (Caleb); his great grandchildren, Hayden Alverson and Canaan Rierson; and his nephew Chad Coltrane (Kelli).

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Loflin Funeral Home Chapel (212 W Swannanoa Ave, Liberty, NC 27298).
