He was predeceased by: his parents, O. D. Brown and Lillie Wood Brown; and his siblings, Wayne Brown, Duard Brown and Genevieve Allen.
He is survived by: his sisters, Blanche Snider and Louise Campbell of Climax. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The lying in state will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ridge Funeral Home (908 Albemarle Rd, Asheboro, NC 27203). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Randolph Memorial Park Chapel (4538 US Highway 220 Bus N, Asheboro, NC 27203).
