She was predeceased by: her parents, Annease Bryant James and Cleveland James, Sr.; and her brother Clifton R. James. She is survived by: her sons, Keveland Ray Underwood and Kenneth Montreal Underwood of Fayetteville, NC; her siblings, Cleveland James, Jr., Amon James (Sandra) of Clinton, NC, Lillian Daughtry and Annie Williams (J. C.) of Clinton, NC; and her niece Angelina Simmons. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
